June 9, 2012 - Sports Physical Day at Whitman.
On this Saturday, we have doctors who will
perform the basic school physical and
complete page 2 of the
MCPS Health
Inventory Form. Email FVFF volunteer TBD to get an appointment. This is also a major fund
raiser for the Walt Whitman All Sports
Booster Club.
July 27, 2012 - Football Camp; Bus leaves Whitman High School
at 8:30AM (Friday). The unofficial
beginning of our season will be camp at
Salisbury State University. Players are
required to ride the bus to and from camp.
Team will return on Sunday July 29th.

by July 6, 2012.
August 10, 2012 - Equipment Day (Friday); all football candidates
will report to the Gym lobby to turn in the
required forms and receive equipment.
Equipment Distribution TBA. Players'
equipment pickup times will be assigned
based on their weight room/workout
attendance. To receive equipment on this
day, you must have
ALL FORMS filled out and
turned in. There will also be a player
pack fee. Make the check payable to WWHS.
For this fee, players will receive shorts,
UnderArmour Shirt, mouth guard, practice
jersey, game socks, and a girdle with
integrated butt and hip pads.
August 10, 2012 - 5PM (Friday) Mandatory player meeting in the cafeteria to
discuss rules, team procedures, and
expectations for the upcoming season.
August 10, 2012 - 7PM (Friday) Important Parent Information Meeting that will be held
in the cafeteria.
August 11, 2012 - First Day of Practice (Saturday).
Two-A-Days Begin
8-10:30am Morning practice

4-4:30 meeting
5-7:30pm Evening practice

August 2012 - Meet the Team BBQ; All players, families, and
coaches are invited (after scrimmage on
Saturday morning).
August 31, 2012 Season Opens - 6:30PM Whitman at Home vs.Wootton.
2012 Community Night - 6:30PM
2012 Hall of Fame Night - 6:30PM
2012 Homecoming Game - 6:30PM
2012 Senior Night. Final home game for seniors -
6:30PM Paint Branch at Whitman.
2012 Football Banquet; all Players, Parents,
and Coaches are invited.
