 Whitman Viking Carl Ehrlich was chosen as the captain of the 2009 Harvard squad, becoming the 136th captain in the program's history.

 Whitman Viking Anthony Young-Wiseman made it official on National Signing Day by signing his national letter of intent to play football next year at Duke University. Anthony's signing was covered by Fox 5.           Link to Video.
