Coach Andy Lee, Varsity Defensive Coordinator
Coach Lee has been a member of the coaching staff for the last 10 years and he is responsible for all aspects of the Fighting Vikings defensive efforts.
A 2001 graduate of Whitman, Coach Lee pursued his secondary education
at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. He graduated in 2005 with a BA in Exercise Science/Physical Education.
For the past five years, Coach Lee has taught Physical Education at Julius West Middle School in Rockville, as well as coaching varsity football at Whitman. Andy Lee was selected to coach the defensive backs in the 2011 Maryland Crab Bowl.
While attending Whitman, Coach Lee played both varsity football and basketball. He was selected to the All-Gazette football team his senior year along with being named the Defensive Most Valuable Player. During his junior year, he was named Special Teams MVP. He continued his love of athletics by playing four years of collegiate football at McDaniel, where he had he honor of being a two-year football captain. During his senior year, he was named to the All Centennial Conference football team.
