Coach John Floyd, Varsity Line Coach

Coach John Floyd enters his 13th year as a football coach at Whitman. He works with the Offensive and Defensive lines. The Whitman class of 2002 alum was awarded three varsity letters and selected as MVP in 2001. Coach Floyd graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland with a BA in History. He was also a four-year letterman as a football player during his collegiate career.​ He would like to further his education by earning a Masters degree in Special Education. Currently he works as a history teacher at Whitman.
